My Goods and things that need improvment at the "know justice conference"

GOOD: I LikEd that it was very positive no BEEF oR prObLems, thE entertainment was great over all everything was cool =]


THINGS THAT NEEDED IMPROVEMENT: The food arrangment's was not on point everything should have been prepared before lunch. also they should have made sure people did not bring food into the auditorium because there was a lot of trash that had to be picked up after =[

The Good, The Bad, And The Conference

At this year’s annual Know Justice Conference presented by the Center for Young Women’s Development there was A LOT going on; mostly good, but some bad. There was a great turn-out, a lot of diverse groups of people from many different walks of life, culture, and backgrounds. There were great workshops, (gang injunction, immigration, young mother bill of rights, know justice, and foster care)all the partner organizations like United Playaz & Bikes for life had great information, and the youth were definitely informed on there rights. With so many people coming together something bad is bound to happen, and yet the worst was not the worst! OK, OK yes, of course there were some minor miss-haps, say a little drama, a broken table, some bad performances, some security issues, timing was off a bit, and A LOT of boxes to be broken down, but over all the conference was good. I enjoyed working the it, even though the conference its self was long and I was the go to girl for errands lol, it was good and I'm v e r y glad that I was able to be apart of it.

Know Justice Confrence

SECURITY- I THINK WE COULD HAVE HAD A LITTLE MORE SECURTY AT THE CONFRENCE JUST TO SECURE AREA'S AND HELP KEEP THINGS MORE ORGANIZED AS FAR AS THOSE WHO ATTENDED GO. hELP FROM SECURITY WOULD HAVE MADE IT ALOT EASIER FOR STAFF TO MAINTAIN STATIONS HELP KEEP IT LESS CHAOTIC.
WORKSHOPS- MY WORKSHOP WAS FUNN!!!! ALOT OF THE PEOPLE WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR WORKSHOP LIKE IT! THE SINERIO OF OUR GAME THAT WE PLAYED SEEMED REAL TO THEM AND THAT'S WHAT WE WANTED.. FOR THEM TO EXPERIENCE GOING TROUGH THE SYSTEM IN A REALISTIC MANNER BUT THEY ALSO GOT TO ENJOY THEMSELVES AND HAVE FUNN WITH IT AS WELL. THEY GOT ALOT OF INFORMATION HANDBOOKS AND RESOURCES ON HOW TO GO ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS IF THEY EVER GO THROUGH THE SYSTEM.WE HAD A FULL WORKSHOP SO IT WAS REAL BUSY BUT IT WENT REAL SMOOTH..I HAD FUN... --> E'Shh.
