Willow Smith Video

I think the point of this video is that it doesn't matter what type of hair you have just do you. I don't think there should be any changes made to the video. I think it's a positive video for young African American girls because the video is basically sending the message that no matter what type of hair you have just "whip your hair back and forth." I think it took Sesame Street to come out with a positive video because most songs are talking about sex, drugs, money and things that society wants you to like based on the images they have for young women now a days. Some positive television shows are "My Wife And Kids", "Little Bill", and "That's So Raven". I don't think this video would have recieved the same response if it showed a different race because if it was a lighter version they would have said something like "She's trying to be black", but can they tell me how do you act black?? I think the remix version of Willow Smith's song made by Sesame Street made it better and well known because it pointed out that Willow Smith's song is just talking about whipping her hair back and forth. Overall any type of hair and basically saying you shouldn't be ashamed of "what your moma gave you."
